'Suffer Porsh' takes over Sierra Leone and beyond

By Ibrahim Sorious Samura

The recently released social commentary song (Suffer Porsh) by the CEO of the Money Making Machine, Prince Kuti-George, dubbed as Innocent or Fela Kuti, is currently on replay in pubs, clubs, radio and streets across the country.

Regarded as Sierra Leone's best lyricist and most consistent singer, Innocent's songs have always been captivating and educative. His music is always loved by music followers in the country. Innocent is also known for his rhymes which he has developed and use in most of his lines. And people love him for that too.

After releasing hits after hits, the multi talented singer has never stop at it in enticing his fans. His latest song - 'Suffer Porsh' is presently the talk-of-the town. Apart from his lyrical ability to translate his artistic prowess into a 'well of dancing scenes', he has also been able to mimic society's contemporary social ill of fakery and camouflaging. The banter was too much in the track, as the singer trolls people engaged in the lifestyle of false pretences.

He opines that amidst the untold sufferings most are going through, they still want to play safe for the public to believe otherwise. Even those misrepresenting themselves on social are not helping the situation, according him.

The song connotes and delivers the reality of young folks who thrive on the other side of life. The concept resonates well with the status quo.
The song was released in the UK where the musician is currently developing his art through research.

The most popular slang now in town can be no other than 'Suffer Porsh'. Which many can easily relate with. ....'Iron brush'...
